What to do Tijuana

The Tijuana Tower (AV. revolution and Agua Caliente Blvd.) is a replica of the Agua Caliente tower, which was part of the Casino, splendor of the last century 1920s icon is a good start to your visit for delving into the classic atmosphere of the downtown district. Visiting Revolution Avenue or "La Revu" as it is referred by locals you will also find Jai Alai building or fronton palace (AV. revolution and 7th.) you will see a beautiful neomudejar style castle built in 1925, formerly used as a Jai Alai (Basque ball ) and now is prestigious cultural events forum.

The Revu” is crowned by the figure of the monumental clock (AV. revolution and 1st.) a metal arc representing the gateway to Tijuana, built in commemoration of the year 2000. On one side of this is the Plaza Santa Cecilia (Constitution Avenue and 1st.) well-attended because of their delicious typical restaurants and mariachis, sinaloenses  bands and trios nortenos.

Offering the complete collection of Mexican candy, piñatas, handicrafts and small Mexican toys; within walking there are fondas( Inns), Anahuac - also called the Popo Market place-(AV. Ninos heroes and 2nd.) and the municipal market (AV. Ninos heroes and 1st.) certainly two worthwhile stops to enjoy Mexican popular culture.
