San Felipe: Gateway to the Sea of Cortes

The beaches of this natural compound are amazing extensions with oscillations that produces tide drawings on the beach. Recognized as the capital of Baja California shrimp, In this exceptional area you can visit the numerous caves with cave paintings and can take ecological tours to the Valley of the Giants to see cardones (cactus) measured over 17 meters in height. Also, find places to camp on the beach and get in touch with the sea breeze, contemplate the Sierra de San Pedro Martir mountain range whose highest peak measured 3,070 meters high,as well as practice good sport fishing almost year-round on temperate sea waters. Low tide is a singular experience, to walk large stretches of sand that hours before where completely covered with salt water is a unique experience.

Bahia de los Angeles: Marine and Land Oasis

The natural beauty of this region stands out by the combination of the desert and mountains that blends the warm sea image. Aside from enjoying the experience to appreciate the diversity of marine life, it is surprising to see nine species of whales: Blue, gray, minkes, humpback, fin, orcas, Bryde, pilot and sperm whale as well as giant manta rays, elephant seals, sea turtles and dolphins, among others. Sporting activities that you can perform include the practice of sport fishing, kayaking trips or visit colonial missions and cave paintings
