This faraway place is located in the outskirts of the eastside of Sierra de Juárez, mounted over a canyon of steep granite walls, next to the amazing desert of Laguna Salada which extends for miles and miles of distance. Located just 15 feet above sea level, for those who have an exploring spirit, the Cañón de Guadalupe shows its different natural attributes, such as mineralized hot springs, wonderful cascades, cold water natural pools which are formed by the riverbed and a dense vegetation of palms, palmettos and other desert flora which offers refuge to a wide variety of animals, which constitutes a unique sight for the visitor.

Take Federal Highway Num. 2 towards the east, via Tecate-Mexicali up to the Rumorosa. At this point, there is a descending access way from the road to the desert. 750 feet after the sign showing Km. 28, there is a sign indicating the way to the Cañón de Guadalupe (a little before the Laguna Salada); there is an unpaved road. Keep on that road and turn to the right after 25 miles; continue for 8 more miles on the unpaved and stony road until reaching an oasis.
