TEMPORARY IMPORTATION OF VEHICLES

DOCUMENTS: Proof of citizenship: birth certificate, voter registration card, passport or resident alien card (one year minimun) (Original and copy). Vehicle ownership certificate, registration or lease contract. (Original and copy) Vehicle Registration or Title to your Vehicle (Original and copy) In case of being a tourist, you must present the FMT Migration Form. Document proving the return of any previously imported vehicle.

COST AND PROCEDURE:

• Debit of Credit Card: If you have an international debit of credit card, there will be a charge of $24.50 dlls. U.S.

• Bond: This bond will be determined by the vehicle's model and will be reimbursed at your return:

  • 1999-2002 Models: $400.00 dlls.

  • 1994-1998 Models: $300.00 dlls.

  • Models to 1994: $200.00 dlls.
