TEMPORARY IMPORT OF MERCHANDISE FOR MUSICAL EVENTS
It is authorized for foreign artists to import temporarily, for a period of 30 calendar days, the equipment and musical instruments required for the development of their activities in mexican territory, without using a pediment, provided that at the time of entering, they file before the corresponding customs, an application by means of which they commit themselves to return the merchandise they are importing temporarily within the term indicated and not to carry out acts or omissions that are considered crimes or infractions due the improper use or destination of the same, indicating the motive and time of their trip, date of return abroad and a detailed list of the merchandise, as well as to indicate name, legal or business name, address and telephone number of its legal representative in Mexico or of its operations business center. Said procedure should be carried out 45 working days in advance to the corresponding event.

When the weight of the merchandise is to be over 1,500 kilograms (3,300 lbs), the procedure will be carried out by the Freight Customs, by means of a pediment in accordance with the procedure indicated in Article 136 of the Regulation.
