The Magic North of the Penninsula



The insular complex of Espiritu Santo, in the municipality of La Paz, Baja California Sur (BCS) is part of the area of protection of flora and fauna denominated “Islas del Golfo de California”. One of the main attractions of this place and including of the place is the presence of a reproductive colony of approximately 300 sea lions of California (ZalophusCalifornianus) which is known as “Los Islotes” or “La Lobera”, and is located in the north part of the islands. There the tourists can enjoy  activities  like diving, kayaking and snorkeling, which allows the coexistence with these extraordinary mammals, which offers to the visitor a unique and unforgettable experience. For those travelers who prefer the observation of nature and camping, this insular complex lodges so much in its islands and small barren islands, like in its adjacent marine area, a great number of species of flora and fauna that do not exist in nowhere else in the world (the called endemic species) especially reptiles ands mammals
