LAGUNA PERCEBÚ [PERCEBU LAGOON]
This site offers the most spectacular view south of San Felipe, with its extensive lagoon, that is filled every evening with water from the Sea of Cortés, forming a quiet and beautiful lagoon, ideal for swimming, kayaking or jet skiing. This place was one of the first tourist camps in the area and it currently has the highest number of temporary US resident homes. Twice a year an off-road race called “Poker Run” takes place here on the months of May and November.
Access
By Federal highway Num. 5, continue south of San Felipe and, approximately 16 Km., turn left towards the sea for 1 Km. of unpaved road.

Suggestions
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing, take enough supply’s (water, food, etc.), camping equipment and some bags to dispose and take trash, a spare tire, and mechanical tools.
