After crossing the mythical Valley of the cirios, home of monumental endemic cactus plants such as the cirio and cardón, the cordillera of the Sierra de San Borja displays a magnificent horizon. Located in one of the ;most distant points of the peninsula, rugged mountains and Islands guard the fantastic meeting between ochre tones of the desert and the cobalt blue colors of the sea of Cortés, offering a unique picture post card whose beauty will delight those who visit this part of the world.

How to get there?

In the Punta Prieta rest stop (parador) Located on the Federal 1 highway 105  km from Cataviña, continue 66 km more eastward. At the end of the Guide, we offer a list of some tour operators that it can provide transportation.
