This trip is exclusive for charters on the month of February and March, with a maximum of 200 passengers per group. We annex a complete itinerary.

DAY 1: Tijuana - Guadalupe Valley - Ensenada

We begin our trip by motor coach in the fast growing, busy commercial city of Tijuana. We continue to the small quaint town of Tecate, home of Tecate beer. Continue the journey to visit Mexico's world renowned wine country, located only half an hour East of Ensenada. Guadalupe Valley has a short, but intense history: first settled by native Indians, then by Spanish missionaries and Molokai Russians. Today it is the site of several wineries that have acquired international fame. After visiting 4 wineries and enjoying a country lunch we end the day in Ensenada for a welcome meal.

DAY 2: Ensenada - Santo Tomas - San Vicente - San Quintin

After a city tour, which includes some of Ensenada's oldest buildings, such as the ex-casino Riviera del Pacifico, and we drive south of Ensenada to the famous "Bufadora" to visit the natural sea spout and take advantage of informal shopping. Continuing South we pass Santo Tomas, where the oldest winery of Mexico is located. In San Vicente we visit the community museum.

DAY 3: San Quintin Bay - Oyster Farm- Catavina Desert - Bahia de los Angeles

The morning is spent getting acquainted with the beautiful, secluded bay of San Quintfn and its array of extinct volcanoes. A local worker's bus will take us along the coast to explore the geological past of the peninsula. We walk to the beach of San Ramón to view the volcanic cliffs and continue the drive to scenic dunes and stop at an oyster farm for a tour with oyster tasting and a picnic lunch. We then plunge into the enchanting Vizcaino Desert to reach Cataviña, a "desert garden" of gigantic granite boulders full of cacti, cardones, boojum, elephant trees and blue-fan palms. Our first contact with the Sea of Cortez is in scenic Bahia de Los Angeles where we will view the island-filled bay surrounded by mountains.

DAY 4: Bahia de los Angeles - Guerrero Negro

After breakfast we enjoy a boat tour of part of the bay, relax, enjoy the view, visit the museum and a sea turtle conservation center. We then continue to Guerrero Negro.

Extras: Oyster farm excursion

DAY 5: Guerrero Negro - Whale Watching Excursion - Cataviña

The day begins with a drive through a pristine bird-filled salt marsh. Scammon's Lagoon (Ojo de Liebre) is located next to the world's largest producer of salt. The four-hour whale watching excursion includes a drive through the salt beds and the boat ride among the whales. We begin our journey back through the Vizcaino Desert with an overnight in Catavifia to admire the desert sky at night.

DAY 6: Cataviña - Tijuana

In this beautiful landscape we take a walk which includes a visit to a small cave with paintings. We then continue to Tijuana to conclude the trip with a typical lobster meal.
