The Anguiano exhibit opens its doors to the public of both Californias .A magnificent 47 piece collection donated to our city by the Madam, Brigita Anguiano, in accordance with the wishes of who was regarded as the last of the great masters of the second generation of the Mexican School of painting works: Raul Anguiano.
The works are the only permanent collection of Mexican art in the city of Tijuana, Baja California. This privilege is a special emotional link joined to Raul Anguiano with the Tijuana-San Diego region for many years.
Born in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco in 1915, from an early age showed a huge talent that it later would travel Mexico, United States and Europe with its exhibitions. Significant part of his work dignifies the image of the natives, especially after long seasons of internment in the Lacandona jungles of Chiapas.
Sala Anguiano rutas, offers a tour by the various artistic stages of the master, and also the history of Mexico.
